Gift making tile decorating workshops at Jackfield Tile Museum, Ironbridge
Date Posted: 20th May 2014Put your creative skills to good use and decorate a tile as a unique present for your school teacher or someone special at these family gift making workshops to be held at Jackfield Tile Museum, near Ironbridge on Saturday 5th July 2014.
You will use the Victorian tube lining technique to produce a tile featuring your own personal design and choice of colours. Tiles cost from £5 each and can be fired and sent home later for a small extra charge to cover postage and packing. It takes up to 1½ hours to decorate your tile. This is not a drop-in session and places must be pre-booked; museum admission charges apply.
Open 10am to 5pm Jackfield Tile Museum is one of the Ironbridge Gorge Museums. A great value Annual Passport Ticket allowing entry into the Jackfield Tile Museum and the other nine Ironbridge Gorge Museums, valid for twelve months and unlimited return visits, costs £27.50 per adult, £21 for the 60 plus, £16.50 for students and children and £68 for a family of two adults and all their children aged up to 18 years in full time education (terms and conditions apply); under 5s free.
