Visit the home of Humphrey Kynaston, the notorious Shropshire Highwayman, who lived in a cave in Nescliffe.

There's an Ironage Hillfort on top and a series of impressive quarries, from which stone was used locally to build many castles and churches. Take in the view over the Shropshire countyside and Welsh hills.

Recreational Activities: Waymarked circular routes provide easy off-road cycling and horse riding as well as walking. Some easy, reasonably level walking from Pine car park. Also long walks over mixed terrain. Stout footwear recommended, can be very muddy.
