Each of Fishmore Hall Hotel's bedrooms have been individually styled to make it as comfortable and luxurious as possible. The spa boasts four treatment rooms, which combine to create two couples rooms, a steam room and sauna, as well as an outdoor Cedar wellness pool and oversized hammock on the decking, both overlooking the fields and the Shropshire Hills. There is ample relaxation space and the outdoor bucket and monsoon drench shower provides a refreshing and revitalising experience.

Q. Favourite ingredient (and why)?
A. British asparagus and hand dived Scottish scallop, I think these two ingredients shine through as being two of the best of our British produce and I have great pleasure in preparing the first batch of new season asparagus and also opening the shell on a fresh hand dived scallop; I think both these items shout out the best of British produce.
Q. Favourite meal at home?
A. I love to cook a nice Sunday roast at home with my wife.
Q. If you weren’t a chef, what would you be?
A. I think I would have joined the military.
Q. Favourite chefs?
A. There are some amazing chefs in Britain such as Gareth Ward at Ynyshir Hall, Mathew Thomkinson and The Montague Arms and so on the list is endless.
Q. Best meal you’ve ever had?
A. I had a 22 course tasting menu at Ynyshir Hall in Wales by Gareth Ward it was very special.
Q. Favourite cook book?
A. Marco Pierre White autobiography.
Q. Favourite wine?
A. Not a huge wine drinker I'm a Hendrick's and tonic person and I like a few dessert wines, such as Sauternes.

Short Cooking Demo with Chef
We have put together a short kitchen "shift" with David where you can get a few hints and tips to help you with your own home cooking. Spend two hours with David putting together the "finishing" touches to your favourite dish, learn how to make your own petit fours, perfect the crust on your bread or sear those scallops to perfection . For the more adventurous, perhaps you will want to spend the time doing a little in-house butchery? David will sit and discuss your preferences and your dislikes before the demonstration then take you into the hotel kitchen to share his favourite tips.
£75 includes 2 hours for 2 people with David and all ingredients.

From Shrewsbury: From the A49 take the Bromfield Road into Ludlow. Continue towards the town centre until you reach a left hand turn signposted for Kidderminster and the A4117. Take that turning and at the mini roundabout turn left onto Fishmore Road. Continue along for half a mile and the hotel is on the right. From Leominster: On the A49 drive straight across 2 roundabouts. 1 mile after the second roundabout, take the right hand turn signposted Ludlow B4361. Continue towards the town centre until you reach a left hand turn signposted for Kidderminster and the A4117. Take that turning and at the mini roundabout turn left onto Fishmore Road. Continue along for half a mile and the hotel is on the right.
